During the development of the ITECH Research Pavilion 2019 explorations in the design of fibre wound architectural elements were made. Syntax and concepts developed with different student teams. These fiber syntax explorations lead to the final fibrous tectonics of the livMatS Pavilion 2020-21.

Digital Fiber Winding Structure Exploration

Envisioning a shell-like structure, this syntax is layered as to form a homogeneous fiber glass surface with carbon fiber reinforcing principal stress lines.
