This research explores potential architectural applications of composite materials made from mycelium and proposes an innovative manufacturing method. By folding a textile mold filled with mycelium substrate, the production process is simplified. The mycelium grows, enabling the object to bear compression loads. After the drying phase, the mycelium structure is lightweight and ready for use. The chair prototype demonstrates that the proposed manufacturing method and material are suitable for interior walls.
